ALAN SUGAR’S first apprentice was awarded an honorary fellowship at the Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College graduation ceremony at Ealing Town Hall.
Tim Campbell, who won the first series of the BBC show and was made an MBE in 2012, was the first ever recipient of the award and spoke about his path to success.
Business student Farina Akhtar was awarded the Ministry of Defence award for showing outstanding levels of commitment and tenacity.
The ceremony took place in a packed hall and was attended by Ealing North MP Steve Pound and Mayor Tej Ram Bhaga.
Principal and Chief Executive Garry Phillips said: “I am proud of all our graduates’ efforts. It has been a privilege to support and encourage them along the way.”
