AN Ealing guitarist has launched a digital course to show young guitar players how to become teachers.

Stuart Bahn, 39, of Chandos Avenue, has released Be A Guitar Teacher, an online course consisting of seven video presentations of different aspects of teaching the guitar.

A former course leader at the Academy of Music and Sound, Southampton, he said the course, designed to be the gold-standard of guitar tuition, was the first of its kind.

It features case studies, example guitar lessons and hundreds of practical demonstrations.

Stuart, who has been a guitar tutor since 2000, said many guitar players would make excellent teachers if they had the right guidance.

“I want to help young people stay in the music industry and become successful entrepreneurs - maybe even help them finance their way to superstardom,” he added.

According to the Music Industries Association, annual guitar sales in the UK are estimated at £165m, with guitar teachers typically charging £25-£50 per hour.
