GET lost in a book and win £20 this winter as Ealing Libraries launch their Book Buster Challenge on Monday.

The contest is aimed at children up to 16 and the challenge is to read six books in your age category by February 16.

Everyone who reads all six books, and then votes for their favourite, will enter a draw for a £20 book voucher, awarded at the World Book Day celebrations on March 5.

“It is a fantastic way of getting children and young people reading throughout the winter,” said Ealing cabinet minister for libraries, Cllr Patricia Walker.”

The books to be read are determined by age group, with categories for the under-5s, 5-7s, 8-10s and 11-16s.

Books that are shortlisted include Abigail by Catherine Rayner, Darcy Burdock: Hi So Much by Laura Dockrill and The Boy on the Porch by Sharon Creech.

The books will be available to borrow from all Ealing Libraries and you must be a library member to enter.

Voting can be done online at www.csslibraries.com or in your local library.
