ROLLER skating, music and entertainment are promised at W13 Gets Rolling in a collaboration between RollaDome All Skate, Conscious and Ealing Council.
Until Friday, the open-air roller skating rink at Dean Gardens, Uxbridge Road, West Ealing, is open to people of all ages.
With more than 400 visitors in the first four days, W13 Gets Rolling is catching on.
From 10am until the late evening, RollaDome coaches and volunteers will guide people on and off the rink.
“We’ve had a great reception from the community in these first days,” said Anne-Marie Waugh, chief executive of RollaDome. “There is a lot of curiosity from people visiting the park as well.
“We usually work with schools, but we wanted to carry on during the summer with a change of venue, creating an event suitable for everybody.”
You can book in advance, or simply turn up at the park for skating lessons, roller disco or speed skating RollaDome All Skate is a charity that promotes roller sports and uses it to engage communities.
Conscious is a non-profit company which aims to raise awareness and funding for charities through music events.
