A HARVEST-themed festival is being staged on Acton Green Common next month.
Acton Green Harvest Moon Festival has been designed by organiser Market Square Group to be entertaining and educational and to appeal to visitors of all ages.
The two-day event, on Saturday and Sunday, September 27-28, will feature live folk music, workshops where visitors can try their hand at bread, butter and cheese-making, traditional craft demonstrations and folklore storytelling.
It will also showcase freshly-cooked hot and cold food stalls, groceries and hand-crafted items alongside a bar.
The Barn will provide a seating area for those enjoying a harvest supper and a stage will house live country and folk music acts.
A key feature will be a 12-foot tall scarecrow.
There will also be a collection point for donated food, which will be distributed by the charity, Ealing Foodbank.
