EALING amateur theatre group the Beaufort Players present A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare from July 17-19 at the Church of the Ascension hall in Beaufort Road, W5.
A young woman flees Athens with her lover, only to be pursued by her would-be husband and by her best friend.
Unwittingly, all four find themselves in an enchanted forest where fairies and sprites soon take an interest in human affairs, dispensing magical love potions and mischievous spells.
Performances are at 8pm each day, with an additional Saturday matinee at 2.30.
