EALING Cycling Campaign is planning a range of activities for all ages in this year’s Bike Week (June 14-22).
Residents can have their bikes checked for free at Dr Bike events at West Ealing Farmers’ Market on June 14 and at Hanwell Carnival on June 22.
A series of organised rides is also planned, including the popular Sunset Ride on June 18, leaving Ealing Town Hall at 7pm for a ride to a pub on Richmond Hill.
The week closes on Sunday, June 22, with a family-friendly ride and picnic that leaves Ealing Town Hall at 10am.
All the rides are ideal for beginners or people who want to gain some road skills.
Nick Manthorpe, borough coordinator for Ealing Cycling Campaign, said: “Bike Week provides the ideal opportunity to experience the joys of cycling. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced cyclist or a novice, there is an event for you .”
