AN Ealing mum of twin boys is celebrating after reaching the finals of national blogging award, MAD.

Growing up in Auvergne, France, Hélène Eberhardt, 32, who lives in Northfields, started her blog, Croque-Maman, at the end of last year.

It is nominated for best new blog and best blog photography at the MAD awards, competing with four other finalists in each category.

Hélène said: “Being a finalist means the world to me - all my family and friends are so proud.”

This is the fifth year of the Mum and Dad (MAD) Blog Awards, dedicated to celebrating the best and biggest of UK parenting blogs.

Before becoming a stay-at-home mum of 21-month-old twins, Hélène was a food brand marketer, hooked on travelling, reading, running, and food.

Hélène said she started Croque-Maman to answer friends’ questions, sharing what French mums cook and how they place food at the heart of family life.

The MAD Blog Awards celebrate the thousands of parents in the UK who have discovered blogging as a way to capture family memories and make new friends.

Awards founder Sally Whittle said: “The standard of entries this year was incredible and we’re so impressed with all the finalists’ blogs.”

Hélène will find out if her blog is a winner in September at a red carpet award ceremony in London.
