A NEW umbrella community group, which aims to influence and challenge wide-ranging plans for Old Oak Common, is being established.
Groups from Brent, Ealing and Hammersmith & Fulham, whose users would be affected, are welcome to join.
An Old Oak Common ‘opportunity area’, with plans for a minimum of 24,000 new homes and 55,000 jobs, is identified in alterations to the Mayor’s London Plan, published in January.
London Tenants Federation is working with Just Space and some UCL planning students to bring together tenants and other community groups from the three borough to ensure their voices are heard.
A meeting is being held at 6.30pm on Wednesday, March 12 at The Hub @ All Souls Church, Station Road, Harlesden, London NW10 4UJ.
