THE Ealing Pop Up Shop has been taken over for a week from today (Monday) by Ealing Fairtrade Group.

It coincides with the first week of Fairtrade Fortnight.

Each day there will be a variety of stalls, including handmade jewellery from Colombia, Tibet and Nepal.

Co-ordinator Jackie Whitaker, said: “ Selling Fairtrade goods in Ealing will help more people in developing countries to improve their standard of living and gain more control over their lives.”

Fairly-traded clothing from countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America will also be available to buy.

Ealing Fairtrade Group will provide daily free craft activities for children with accompanying adults.

A ukelele band from St Mark's Primary School, Hanwell, will be performing in the shop on Thursday morning.

The shop will be open until 8.30 pm on Thursday, with live music and a Fairtrade food tasting.

The shop, at 99 Broadway W13, will otherwise be open from 10am-6pm up to and including Saturday.
