THE Dodo micropub in Boston Road, Hanwell, has been shortlisted for the High Street Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Lucy Do, its owner, beat off some tough competition to make the regional shortlist, with more than 1,000 businesses entering.
The NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards are now in their fifth year.
Lucy said: “As a start-up that opened less than eight months ago, I was not expecting this at all! This is such an achievement for what feels like a little slice of the high street in Hanwell! I’m glad the judging panel could see that this micro-business is making a big impact.”
She decided to leave a career in marketing to open up one of the first craft beer micropubs in West London.
