Northolt crash victim named

A SOUTHALL man who was killed while crossing a road has been named by police.

Durmakh Singh, 52, was killed when he was hit by a black Audi as he tried to cross the southbound carriageway of Church Road, Northolt, at around 9.30am on Sunday.

A Lithuanian man was arrested at the time and has been released on bail until June.

The road was shut for several hours while police made investigations.
