THE North London Times and Independent series has launched a very special competition to reward our best young artists.

We have six family sets of Legoland® Windsor Resort tickets to give away to the winners of our fantastic painting and drawing competition in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The contest will be divided into three age categories. Two winners will be selected for age groups four to seven-years-old; eight to 11-years-old and 12 to 15-years-old. Each winner will receive one of the Legoland family tickets, which gives free entry to the theme park for two adults and two children.

The creators of the best pieces of art, as voted for by the public in a text and phone vote, will also have their drawings published in our newspapers.

All you have to do is paint or draw a picture of the Queen.

Scan your picture and email it to timesnews@london.newsquest.co.uk and catch-line your email 'Queen's Jubilee Competition'. Please include your name, age and address in the email.

Alternatively you can send your entries by post to Queen's Jubilee Competition, Times Series, 71 Church Road, Hendon, NW4 4DN. Please note posted entries will not be returned. Please include your name, age, address and a contact telephone number either on the back of the drawing or on a separate sheet of paper.

Your entry must reach us by 5pm on the closing date, Wednesday June 13.

Readers will then be invited to pick the best entries by telephone vote.

The children of employees of Newsquest (London) and their immediate families are not eligible to enter; the qualifying date for the age categories is the entrant’s age at the end of the closing date on June 13; the two winners in each category will be those who receive the most public votes in the text and phone poll; all entrants must be willing to take part in publicity surrounding the competition.
