COMEDIAN Michael Barrymore was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and being drunk and disorderly after a car crash in Acton, police confirmed today.
Barrymore, 59, was found by police after a Citroen DS3 crashed into a kerb near the junction of The Vale and Dordrecht Road on Tuesday.
The entertainer and another man were arrested and held at 4.30am.
Barrymore, real name Michael Parker, was bailed to appear at Ealing Magistrates’ Court on December 7.
It is understood police were unclear who had been behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
