Seven up for super Brook

BROOK House hammered Flackwell Heath 7-1 in a Ryman League Division Two promotion battle.

After a cagey opening, Jay Pereira capitalised on a mistake to set up Dean Papali who planted the ball into the back of the empty net.

Brook scored a second on 24 minutes when Pereira curled in a shot.

Flackwell's task became harder when Lee Channell was sent off for elbowing Jamie Mitchell in the face.

Papali scored his second and Brook's third on 42 minutes when he profited from a superb passing sequence between Owens and Kirkland that tore Flackwell to shreds.

The second half saw almost complete posession for the home side as they launched wave after wave of attacks on the Flackwell goal.

Somehow Flackwell managed to keep them out until the 76th minute when substitute Kevin Chakadoza got in at the far post to score the fourth.

Fellow substitute Ian Jones, who had scored a hat-trick against The Heathens earlier in the season, increased the visitors' embarrassment with two goals in the 84th and 86th minutes. Pereira became the third player to score two goals on 87 minutes when he ran through unchallenged and rifled the ball home.

Flackwell hit back with a last minute penalty from player boss Andy Driscoll.

Yeading improved their fortunes with two 1-0 wins.

Marvin Morgan got the only goal at Thurropck on Saturday and David Clarke did the same on Tuesday to secure a 1-0 win over Histon.

He got hold of the ball just inside the area, took it down the left, dummied the keeper and shot from close range.
