AN accountant from Southall has been charged with murder.
Sanjay Kanda, 23, of Ranelagh Road, was charged with the murder of Makhan Singh, who died following an incident on Sunday, January 22.
Police were called at around 12.30 am to Heston Community Centre, Vicarage Farm Road, Hounslow.
Police say Mr Singh was attending a party at the centre when he became involved in an altercation with another guest there.
Mr Singh suffered an injury to the head.
He did not at the time attend hospital, but at around 10am that day his condition worsened and he was taken to Ealing Hospital.
He was then transferred to the intensive care unit at Charing Cross and was pronounced dead at 4pm the following day.
Mr Singh's age is not known at the time of going to press. His next of kin have been informed.
Mr Kanda appeared at Feltham Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 26. He was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on May 4.
