ANOTHER high school and a town centre will be subject to dispersal orders as of this week.
Northolt High School in Eastcote Lane, has requested the orders under the Antisocial Behaviour Act 2003 in a bid to stop troublemakers coming in and around the area during school times.
The order is the seventh in the area and has been introduced by Ealing Police and Ealing Council because of the amount of antisocial behaviour in the area.
Natalie Pace, Ealing Council's antisocial behaviour co-ordinator, told the Times: "Dispersal orders are proving to be very effective in helping to reduce antisocial behaviour in other parts of the borough."
Part of old Southall will also be subject to a dispersal order as of Monday.
But it will also have a curfew order which means anyone under the age of 16 seen in the designated areas without an accompanying adult after 9pm will be taken home by police officers.
Superintendent Joe Wadsworth, responsible for community and partnership at Ealing Borough Police, said: "We believe these dispersal orders will further enhance the community's quality of life and help achieve a sustained reduction of crime and disorder in the area."
The order means that two or more people who are causing trouble within the designated areas will be asked to move on by police.
If they return to the area during the times specified by police or if they refuse to leave, they will be arrested.
