MARY Hall, manager of the Michael Flanders Centre for elderly and disabled people, was suspended from her job following a violent row with bosses on Wednesday.
Ms Hall, who has worked for the council for over 10 years, was escorted off the premises in Church Road, Acton when she returned the following day to collect personal effects.
The row blew up when Ms Hall felt that undue pressure was placed on her staff in asking them for an assessment of each service user.
Service users and staff protested when the Albert Dane Centre in Western Road, Southall, the Carlton Road Centre in Carlton Road, Acton and Michael Flanders were earmarked for closure in January. The Cabinet requested a full service review by March 31.
UNISON representative Brian Blake said: "We can't comment on the case details but our member is the subject of an act of victimisation designed to intimidate other staff."
A council spokesman said: "We couldn't possibly comment."
