A COMEDIAN'S son who was due to be charged with child porn offences is believed to be on the run.
Adam Barker, of Ealing, the son of popular comedian Ronnie Barker, did not answer bail in June this year after detectives were alleged to have found more than a thousand images on his computer at his home, according to news reports.
It is believed he faced charges from Operation Ore, a special unit that investigates people who allegedly download pornographic pictures of children from the internet.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "A 37-year-old man was arrested in June 2003 on suspicion of being in possesion of indecent images of children.
"He was bailed until June 24, 2004 to appear at a west London police station but he failed to appear and inquiries are being made to try and trace him."
