A SMALL bakery is to supply Harrods with bread - after poaching the luxury store's head baker.
Nevojsa Boljevic, owner of Pitshanger Village Bakery on Pitshanger Lane, Ealing, asked Emerson Barrido to come and work for him and now the department store want his bakery to prepare the store's speciality breads.
Mr Barrido was the head baker at Harrods for the last two years. Mr Boljevic said: "I offered him lollipops, ice-cream and good money and now he is with us.
He is a fantastic baker and a brilliant patisserie chef." The breads the bakery will be supplying to Harrods include Pain au Levin and walnut raisin bread.
