A British man suspected of killing two young women in Spain is being investigated for Amanda Dowler’s murder.
Scotland Yard is investigating whether Tony King had anything to do with the death of the 13-year-old, who was known as Milly.
The Surrey schoolgirl went missing on her way home from school during her mile-long walk from Walton station in Surrey on March 21.
Her remains were found, 25 miles away in woodland near Fleet, Hampshire.
Police have not yet found evidence to connect King with Milly’s murder, it was reported.
King, who used to be named Tony Bromwich, was jailed in 1986 for a series of sex attacks on women in north London.
The 38-year-old, who has been dubbed the 'Costa Killer', is being held in custody for the murders of Sonia Carabantes, 17, last month and Rocio Wanninkhof in 1999.
