Postal union officials will today reveal a list of dates for industrial action in London.
The strike action by postal workers is part of pay dispute over the amount of London weighting offered by Royal Mail.
The Communication Workers Union will announce the dates at a press conference this afternoon.
Postal workers were balloted for strike action last week, with a narrow margin rejecting a national strike, and a clear majority supporting a London strike.
The CWU wants a £4000 rise for its members in the Greater London area, but Royal Mail has offered about £3780 for workers in inner London and £2860 in outer London.
“We also want an agreed mechanism for increases in the future, making it an allowance for increased cost of living in London, excluded from the traditional round of pay bargaining,” a CWU statement said.
