POLICE have launched a murder hunt after a man died from stab wounds following a street brawl in Southall.

A fight broke out in Western Road on Saturday shortly after 9.50pm. A 25 year-old man was fatally stabbed.

The victim was taken to a west London hospital where he died from his injuries.

A post mortem held at Ealing Hospital on Sunday gave the cause of death as a stab wound.

Officers found the man injured in the street along with another two men who were also seriously injured.

Both men, aged in their late teens or early twenties, remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

All of the victims are Asian. Police believe the attackers, also believed to be Asian, were armed with knives, poles and other weapons.

A 17-year-old man and a 24-year-old man have been arrested and charged with violent disorder. A 36-year-old woman was also arrested but was released with no further action.
