WITNESSES are being urged to come forward after a pensioner died from fatal head injuries after she came off her moped.
The 82-year-old woman was riding her moped northbound along Windmill Lane, Southall, last Thursday when she was in collision with a Renault Megane being driven by a woman from Greenford.
She was taken to nearby New Ealing Hospital suffering from serious head injuries but later died.
The driver of the car was not injured. The road was closed for three hours.
Traffic police are appealing for any eye witnesses to come forward and help them with their investigation.
Witnesses should call Alperton Traffic Investigation Unit and ask for Sergeant Williams on 020 8246 9820
