MORE entertainers are being sought to take part in a festive extravaganza in Acton.
Artists, entertainers and performers are being encouraged by Ealing Council to join in this year’s Acton Town Christmas Fair, on Saturday, December 6.
The event is part of a regeneration programme around the town centre and takes place in Acton Market Square, King Street, St Mary’s Church in Churchfield Road, Acton High Street and Acton Town Hall from 11am-6pm.
Musical entertainment will be provided by choirs, carol singers, bands and buskers, and local artists and businesses are invited to get involved.
Councillor David Millican, who is in charge of regeneration, said: “Acton is in line for a £2million package of investment over the next few years and the area will benefit from a number of improvements.
“The Christmas Fair will attract more people to Acton and it is a great opportunity for residents to take part in a wonderful community project.“ If you are interested in taking part, contact Trusha Lakhani on 020 8825 9659 or email Trusha at stanwortht@ealing.gov.uk. A stall booking form is available to download at www.ealing.gov.uk/acton
