HOUSING association A2Dominion hosted a Big Impact Day in West Ealing this month.

A drop-in session was held at the Orchard Cafe on the Green Man Lane estate, enabling A2 residents to speak with experts about issues and learn of the support services available to them.

Staff from Pyramid Plus completed same-day repairs, and an environmental services team from Chequers disposed of unwanted bulk items and helped with gardening.

An arts and craft session also took place for young children to keep them entertained.

A2Dominion customer Hannah has lived on the Green Man Lane estate for around 20 years and was delighted with the support she received on the day.

Pyramid Plus staff inspected a suspected case of damp in her bedroom, while a removals team disposed of her unwanted chest of drawers.

She said: “The session was really good, I came for a repair and they came to see me in 15 minutes.”

A2Dominion manages more than 3,500 homes in Ealing.
