One in four Brits admit to exaggerating their height on their dating profiles, according to new research.

And with Valentine’s Day in full swing, it’s also been revealed that 86% of dishonest singles have added a little extra to their height by an average of 5.6 inches.

Exactly 23% of singles say they lie about their height on dating profiles, with eight in ten saying they consider height an important factor in partner selection.

But the rest of Brits (52%) think everyone should be proud of their height no matter what.

The research was commissioned by KFC, who have joined forces with Jessica Pardoe, Britain’s tallest woman, to launch their ‘Love at First Height’ tester this Valentine’s Day.

Ealing Times:

Pardoe, who stands at a towering 6”10, said: “As a 6”10 woman, I've had various height-related questions over the years - especially from sceptical suitors when I was in the dating game.

“This is why I’m so excited to champion height honesty this Valentine’s Day and encourage everyone to embrace their height, no matter what!”

Brave singles can visit KFC Leicester Square today between 12-4pm where Jessica will verify their height against their dating profile.

Those telling the truth will walk away not just with a sense of satisfaction, but also a free Tower Burger.
