THE entire run of a new play about the historic Ealing Club has sold out two weeks before it is due to receive its world premiere.

Due to the exceptional demand, Questors Theatre has added an extra show at 2.30pm on October 29.

Tickets will be released this coming Friday morning (14) via The Questors website (http://www.questors.org.uk/event.aspx?id=997).

The show marks the 60-year anniversary of the Ealing Club and The Rolling Stones’ first gig.

Inspired by true events and written by Julian Smith, the production runs for nine performances at The Questors Studio Theatre.

After each show, there will be a band playing live music.

Alistair Young, co-founder of the Ealing Club Community Interest Company, said “The complete sell-out is fantastic news and shows the growing interest in how our west London borough was the incubator for one of the world’s most popular music genres - guitar-based rock.

“What’s more, as part of our commitment to today’s musicians, we’re pleased to have booked eight great local bands to play after every performance.”

Alex Marker, Artistic Director of Questors, said: “This has been one of the fastest-selling shows we’ve ever produced.”
