READERS of the Ealing Times voting on this website are against a local authority's decision to cut funding for Southall Black Sisters.

Around 100 protestors gathered on the steps of Ealing Town Hall forcing councillors to flee a meeting, on Tuesday, February 26, after Ealing Council announced its intention to make the cut.

Following this incident, 58 per cent of readers, answered no to the question "Should the Southall Black Sisters have their council funding cut in favour of a new all encompassing domestic violence service?" in our last web poll.

However, 30 per cent supported the council's decision. And 12 per cent voted for equal funding for both.

Our current web poll asks "Will clearer signs make clamping fairer?"
