EALING Half Marathon is keen to reassure runners the event is very much ON around the town’s streets on September 25.
It is also the 10th anniversary race.
Pressure across the sector, with rising costs, organisation and logistical implications, has meant many events have been forced to cancel.
However, a partnership with RaceNation Events at the end of last year ensures the Ealing Half will go ahead.
Event director Sandra Courtney said: “There are 10 years’ worth of hard work and joy of running to celebrate here and we intend to do just that.
“This is a special moment, not only for the event, but also for our amazing charity partners who raise vital funds for amazing causes.”
