POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an accident which left an elderly man dead.
Police were called to Acton Bus Station, Uxbridge Road, Acton, at 9.40pm on Sunday night. The victim, John Moriarty, 65, was taken by ambulance to Central Middlesex Hospital, but he died from his injuries at 10.10pm.
The vehicle believed to have been involved in the collision was a blue Volkswagan Polo.
A man is currently helping police with their enquires.
