An elderly taxi driver died of head injuries after being found unconscious
near Victoria Train Station, London, last week.
70-year-old Albert Harrison from Northolt, Middlesex, was found lying next
to his black taxi in Wilton Rd, Victoria, at 12.40am on July 24. He was
found close to the 24 hour Easy Everything Internet cafe, adjacent to
Victoria Train Station.
Investigating officers at Belgravia are keeping an open mind on the
circumstances surrounding his death but are appealing for anyone who may
have seen Mr Harrison lying on the floor or saw anything proceeding this to
come forward to police.
It would have been busy at that time, late on Tuesday night/early Wednesday
morning.
There would have been people waiting for taxis, trains, buses in addition
to those driving towards Vauxhall Bridge.
Anyone with information should call Belgravia CID on 0207 321 6895 or
Crimestoppers 0800 555 111
