New single: Leiyah will perform at the 696 Festival
AN Ealing student is to perform alongside a line-up of R’n’B and hip-hop legends after premiering her new single on BBC 1Xtra.
Aaliyah Hibbert, who goes by the stage name Leiyah, will perform at two festivals this summer, including the 696 Festival, which celebrates black British music.
While studying for a Masters in Music Industry Management at University of West London’s London College of Music, the singer premiered a new single on BBC 1Xtra after support from big names in the industry.
Leiyah will release her mixtape, Pronounced Leiyah, in October.
