A WOMAN has been killed on the same stretch of road that nearly claimed the life of five-year-old Rachel Popoola three weeks ago.
The 72-year-old woman, a pedestrian, died following the collision in North Acton Road yesterday (Saturday), at 8.55am.
The driver of a silver Mercedes SL60 sports car stopped at the scene, and has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Any witnesses who saw a left-hand drive silver Mercedes coupe in the area shortly beforehand are asked to call police on 0208 998 5319.
