IT’S been known as Queen of the Suburbs for more than 100 years, but Ealing is clearly no longer the place to relax, according to a new survey.
Of all the London boroughs, Havering is top of the tranquility league, which measures the number of noise complaints for every 1,000 residents and is published by togethermoney.com
The league was compiled by the specialist property lender from Freedom of Information Act requests to London’s 32 borough councils, plus the City of London Corporation.
After Havering, the honours went to Sutton, followed by Harrow.
Ealing was 25th, surprisingly behind Hillingdon (13th) with its proximity to Heathrow.
