A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man died at a pub on Thursday night.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) called police to a pub in Preston Road, near Wembley, near the junction with Uxendon Crescent, on Thursday at 11.05pm.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Paramedics had attended after a 53-year-old man was injured during an altercation that took place inside the pub. He was pronounced dead at the scene by LAS."
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a north-west London police station and has been bailed to return on a date in late June.
No weapons were reported to have been seen during the incident, according to police.
The 53-year-old man's next of kin have been informed, but formal identification and a post-mortem examination have yet to take place.
