GRAMMY-nominated artist Bebe Rexha spoke to students at the London College of Music in the University of West London, Ealing, on her Women in Harmony initiative and about gender inequality in the music industry.
She also hosted a Q&A session with the 100-plus students in the audience who are studying Music Management, Music Performance or Music Technology courses.
Women in Harmony encourages conversation and collaboration among female writers, producers and artists.
Support has come from Rita Ora, Noah Cyrus, Charli XCX, Nicole Scherzinger and Ray BLK.
Amy Ratcliffe, a second-year student studying Music Performance and Recording, said: “Bebe gave such good insight to what the industry is like and it was inspiring to hear about how she has responded to challenges in her own career. It will really help me in the future.”
