INTERNET sensation Antonella was pie-eyed when she lent her expertise to a local business.
The Facebook queen spent Saturday in Bert's Home Bake artisan pie shop in Blackburn Road, Bolton.
Co-owner Kirk Bancroft said: "I contacted her and asked her to review our pies but she not only offered to visit, she also said she'd create a new pie for us."
Antonella, who has a whopping 1.4 million followers, said: "I think it's nice do things that help local business."
Her pie, which was launched on the day, consists of chunky steak, grated potato, three different cheeses and onion.
She said: "It's a mixture, a jumble of everything, a bit like myself because I come from Italy but grew up in Haslingden."
Co-owner of the shop, David Herbert, had a surprise for Antonella when she completed her first batch of pies - he decided to name them after her.
He plans to make the Nellbert pies - a combination of his surname and Antonella's first name - a regular fixture on the menu.
"I feel delighted and honoured," said Antonella. "I've had a wedding dress named after me but having a pie named after me is a first."
On sampling the delicious new creation, she said: "It's delicious. I've not even got indigestion, which I usually do after eating pies or pasties."
Bemused customers who were greeted by the larger than life Antonella also gave the new pies the thumbs up.
"Hopefully, this will drum up a bit of business for these lovely lads" she said.
