At the Referendum in 2016 we were told that Parliament would do what we told them, and the decision was to leave. At the General Election in 2017 almost all the votes cast in Epping Forest were for candidates whose manifestos promised to implement Brexit.

For months the Prime Minister has been trying to foist upon us a Withdrawal Agreement that would amount to us becoming a colony of the EU empire with all the same rules, bigger costs and no say in decisions.

Now Parliament has decided to delay Brexit. We voted almost three years ago to leave and yet a two-year process is to be extended. We all know the game Parliament is playing. The majority of MPs do not respect the voters’ decision and want to stay in the EU. If they put it off they will repeatedly find reasons why the time is not right to complete the exit.

I wonder if anyone can tell me what will be the point in voting again for any of the parties now represented in Parliament. All of them, save for the DUP, have gone out of their way to deny us what was promised at the Referendum and repeated at the General Election.
