A man has died after suffering a fatal blow to the head during a fight.
Met detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man died from his injuries following an altercation at Queensbury station, Harrow, at around 00.30am yesterday.
Paramedics battled to save the injured man who was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he died a short time later.
His next of kin have been informed.
No arrests have been made at this time and police enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Inspector Darren Gough said: “We are at the early stages of our investigation and I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened or the events leading up to it to contact us as soon as possible.
“They could hold vital information about the tragic events of this morning.”
