THE Ealing Sport Awards are back for a third year and nominations will close at midday on Wednesday, May 1.
Everyone Active, which operates 12 leisure centres across the borough in partnership with Ealing Council, will be recognising achievements between May last year and April 30 2019. Clubs and individuals can be selected for the following categories:
Junior club of the year
Sports club of the year
Coach
Adult volunteer
Junior volunteer
Outstanding contribution to sport
Inclusive and active award
Junior sports person
Adult sports person
Cllr Bassam Mahfouz, cabinet member for finance and leisure, said: “Ealing is one of the very best places in the capital to get involved with sport, with phenomenal individuals, clubs and facilities that engage people of all ages and backgrounds.”
