The event was jointly organised by the Federation of Small Businesses and West London Business – with Brexit uncertainty being the critical issue.

Delegates called on MPs to work in the national interest, to get a deal which met the needs of small businesses in the borough as uncertainty was the greatest concern.

A recent FSB survey showed that only 14% of small businesses have started planning for a no-deal Brexit.

Other key issues included how the council aims to support high streets, as well as the 16,000 home-based businesses in Ealing.
