FORTY business leaders from across Ealing met borough MPs Rupa Huq and Steve Pound, a council cabinet member, Cllr Peter Mason, and London’s Deputy Mayor for Business, Rajesh Agrawal, today to discuss key concerns.
The event was jointly organised by the Federation of Small Businesses and West London Business – with Brexit uncertainty being the critical issue.

Delegates called on MPs to work in the national interest, to get a deal which met the needs of small businesses in the borough as uncertainty was the greatest concern.
A recent FSB survey showed that only 14% of small businesses have started planning for a no-deal Brexit.
Other key issues included how the council aims to support high streets, as well as the 16,000 home-based businesses in Ealing.
