ACS Hillingdon hosted its first Model United Nations event in which ACS and neighbouring schools took on different roles of the UN and debated important topics.
Students were assigned a country and formed a delegation representing each ‘member state’.
This year’s theme was Tolerance in Society and students discussed hard-hitting subjects, including euthanasia and the right to die with dignity, the threat of cyber interference to democracy and eradicating child labour and modern slavery.
More than 100 students from ACS Hillingdon, Alconbury High School, Lakenheath American High School and Swakeleys School for Girls, took part.
