FOR its next performance, Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra has an evening of Christmas music to get its audience into the festive mood.
The concert will include favourite Christmas melodies, songs and carols, with audience participation.
Christmas film music will also be featured, with a selection from the soundtrack for The Polar Express and a medley of themes from Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street and The Nightmare before Christmas.
Music from The Snowman and Handel’s Messiah will also be performed, alongside arrangements of the 12 Days of Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
In addition, there will be performances by Oak Farm Junior and Oak Wood School choirs.

The concert will launch a 33rd season for the Hillingdon Philharmonic, which has more than 60 registered members.
The concert will be led by Lucy Cumming and conducted by the orchestra’s founder, Peter J. Williams.
