THE charity Tempo is launching its Time Credits scheme across Ealing’s leisure centres.

People will be able to volunteer in the community and earn Time Credits, which they can then exchange for free access to the centres at Acton, Southall and Northolt, run by Everyone Active for Ealing Council.

For each hour that an individual contributes to the community, such as litter picking in the park or helping at youth clubs, he or she earns a Time Credit.

These can then be traded in at an Everyone Active centre.

Lizzy Rice, the company’s community development manager, said. “We look forward to seeing how much good we can all do for the community.”
