ELECTRIC vehicle charging points across Northfields and South Ealing moved a step closer this week.
Ealing Council announced it will consult on installing 14 charging points in those areas.
It follows pressure from Cllr David Millican (Conservative, Northfields), who said this week: "I have been lobbying for [them] in Northfields for more than a year, ever since I saw the electric cars on display at the 2017 Blondin Festival.
“In our 2018 election leaflet, we committed to promote this, so I am thrilled. We all want to see a reduction in emissions from vehicles and I hope this will encourage drivers to consider switching."
