A GROUP from IMPACT Theatre, a charity based in Perivale which works with performers and artists with learning disabilities, was presented with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service on Tuesday.
The group received a glass trophy, presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Greater London, Kenneth Olisa, as well as a certificate signed by the Queen.

The award is the equivalent of an MBE for voluntary groups and recognises IMPACT’s work in performing and the creative arts, as well as the contribution of its volunteers.
The group is based in Horsenden Lane South and serves West London.
