CHILDREN from Treetops Nursery held a series of activities throughout August to celebrate their love for Ealing Common and to learn the importance of making green choices.
The nursery, in Woodgrange Avenue, welcomed artists from Open Ealing, an arts centre which brings local performers, art groups and residents together.
Two artists helped the children create a colourful ‘We love Ealing Common’ banner.
It was displayed outside Ealing Common tube station, which children and staff visited to talk about public transport.

The nursery supported Ealing Cycling Campaign on a ride from Ealing Town Hall as part of Ealing’s Summer of Cycling. Nursery staff handed out bottles of water to those taking part.
It also held a sports day and visited Ealing Common for a ‘Buzz Walk’ in aid of Child Bereavement UK. The nursery raised £80 for the charity.
To round off the month, the nursery held an open day on Saturday, welcoming parents and children from the local community to celebrate Ealing Common.
