TWO men found guilty of shooting and killing a man as he sat in his parked car in Southall were today sentenced for life with a minimum term of 30 years.

Malique Thompson-Hill, 22, of Maidenhead, and Jermiane Paul, 23, of Acacia Avenue, West Drayton, had been found guilty at the Old Bailey last week of the murder of 26-year-old Khalid Farah.

A third man, Joshua Folorunso, 27, of Loudwater, was found guilty of perverting the course of justice at the same trial after setting fire to a car used in the murder. He will be sentenced on September 10.

The victim was shot as he sat in his parked car with a friend in Lady Margaret Road, Southall.

Det Insp Garry Moncrieff, who led the investigation, said: "This brutal murder has devastated Khalid's family and I hope they can now find some comfort in knowing the people who did this will spend a lengthy time behind bars.

"This murder was a cold-blooded and calculated attack with a firearm. Today's sentences mean  these men will no longer be a danger on the streets of London."
