THE 16th London Mela came home to the very heart of Europe’s oldest Asian community, Southall Park, for a weekend of music, dance, food and family events enjoyed by more than 40,000 Londoners.
Sixty performances took place over two stages, including a homecoming for former Hounslow resident, LA-based and British Asian pop star Jay Sean.

DJ collective Panjabi Hit Squad, both Southall lads, whipped the crowd into a frenzy playing a mix of Panjabi classics and dance bangers.
London Mela came to spectacular close with BHANG!,the biggest Dhol D rum in the world as the sky lit up with a firework display.
